marketfeed is a Y Combinator-backed wealthtech company building intelligence products for Indian retail investors. Our content reaches millions of learners across YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms.

Our social media team runs three active YouTube channels with a combined 2.3M+ subscribers: Sharique Samsudheen (1.6M+), marketfeed (560K), and marketfeed Telugu (180K). Instagram reach for the 3 channels is above 800K combined.

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, curious writer who can turn complex financial topics into engaging, watchable scripts. You'll work across all three channels, writing content that reaches millions of Indian investors every month.

What You'll Do

• Write and research scripts for long-form YouTube videos and short-form reels covering topics like personal finance, stock markets, mutual funds, and investing for Indian audiences
• Adapt tone and style per channel
• Research and validate data, news, and market developments to keep content accurate and timely
• Collaborate closely with channel managers, editors, and the social media lead to take ideas from concept to final video
• Proactively pitch video ideas based on trending financial topics, news cycles, and audience interests

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, scriptwriting, journalism, or a related role. YouTube scriptwriting or video experience is a big plus
• Strong written English; proficiency in Malayalam or Telugu is an advantage
• A genuine interest in personal finance, investing, or Indian markets
• Ability to write scripts that sound natural and keep viewers watching
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of your research and writing workflow
